1920s Morocco Flag Card American Caramel E15 Flags Series Like ATC T59 Cards

Description: This scarce and colorful card is one in a series of 40 cards issued by the AMERICAN CARAMEL entitled “ FLAGS OF ALL NATIONS ” as a insert premium in their Brands of Caramels This series is designated as E15 in Burdick’s American Card Catalogue. I have not been able to find a date of their issue in any reference guide I have, but I believe they were issued during the 1920 or 30’era. The front of each card features a colorful rendition of the flag and a background scene that is typical to the nation being featured. The similar images were used by the American Tobacco Company for their T59 Series of Cards The back has advertising for American Caramel co and list the Nations whose flags are featured in the series. The cards are unnumbered. The card measures 2 5/8 inches by 1 ½ approximately, and features the flag of Morocco . The card does have some light creasing and some corner and edge wear. I have scanned the front and back of the card fairly large for you to be able to judge condition for yourself. I will be trying to list several EARLY TRADE & TYPE CARDS over the next few days (spread across different categories), including one or two that are unrecorded in any guide, that were put given away with Tobacco, Cigarettes , Caramel, Candy, Gum, Chocolate, Bread Coffee Tea Cereal and other products, covering such diverse subjects as Native American Indians , Baseball , Football, Boy Scouts, Ice Hockey, Golf, Presidents of the United States, NCAA and IVY League Colleges and Universities, Dog Breeds, Circus themes and many more.
