1970s Mens Grey Polyester Two-Piece Suit Size Large Vintage Retro Made in USA

Description: This listing is for a vintage 1970's men's two-piece suit. The suit is made from a grey polyester knit with an interesting grey-blue weave. It has a two-button-front jacket that is also partially lined in a blue synthetic fabric and has well-padded shoulders. The trousers are straight-leg in cut and do not have cuffs. They close at the waist via an internal button and tab, metal hook-and-eye and synthetic zipper. The suit is in used - but decent - condition. There is some lining separation on the inside of the jacket on one of the side seams that needs to be mended and the zipper on the trousers is stiff, though still functional. There is also a light musty odor from storage throughout, despite being steamed. Labels indicating brand, seller, seller location, size, and 1970's Union information are present inside the jacket. Jacket is marked as a US men's size 42R. No size is marked on the trousers.
