2001 18" Specialized Stumpjumper M4 Pro Upgraded and Restored

The Stumpjumper HT has since been discontinued. Specialized offered the Stumpjumper in different component trims indicated by the model name. I acquired it in 2020 as a stripped bike frame and I rebuilt it and tuned it with the help of a Specialized shop in Grants Pass, Oregon. I replaced parts with new or used originals from the Specialized specs when I could but upgraded many other parts. Replacement with upgraded parts is highlighted in yellow (See Details). But now it's just been taking up space in my garage because I have 3 of these. Time for a new home. This was a top-of-the-line 26-inch wheels-bike in 2001, and the tech from that era still holds up.
