Description: 2001 Topps Tribute Franchise Figures Schmidt/Ashburn/Carlton Relics NO STICKER This 2001 Topps Tribute Retired Jersey Edition is the first of its kind, the INITIAL INAUGURAL offering of the Tribute cards. The subsets within the 2001 Tribute Retired Jersey edition include Pastime Patches, Franchise Figures, Game Worn Relics, Game Bat Relics and Game Bat Relics Stencils, plus 2 special Dual-Relics cards and one special Tri-Relic card.. These cards were minimally produced and are very hard to find. In addition to the normal Topps 1st quality issue of these cards, there was a brief period of time in 2001 when some of these Tribute cards with NO STICKER on the back of the card appeared on eBay. These cards are even more scarce than the “official” Tribute offering. Take advantage of this unique offering as my inventory of these NO STICKER cards is very limited. They are priced roughly half of what the stickered cards sell for and you still get the beautiful Tribute card of baseball's superstars with their genuine patches, bats, uniforms, etc. The Franchise Figures cards feature relics representing multiple players’ uniform numbers presented on cards by team. The uniform numbers are either bat relics or uniform relics. There are 19 team star cards in this Franchise Figures subset. They are not serial numbered on the back but production numbers for the regular issue Franchise Figures are slightly more than 30 of each. The NO STICKER cards are quite possibly rarer than the regular issued cards. The bat piece under Richie Ashburn is the reason for NO Sticker, but the flaw is almost unnoticeable unless you are looking for it.
