Description: For sale is a used Aero Leather Scotland WWII reproduction A-2 jacket, in size 40. Please review the measurements below. I don’t know if this is strictly based on the 42-15142-P Aero, but it features more angular pocket flaps, wider/flatter collar, mustard colored lining, etc., and is seal brown in color. I hate to part with this jacket, but I’m thinning out a lot of my wardrobe, and that means one A-2 for me. There are signs of wear, including some soiling, fraying and/or holes. The leather has some scratches and dings but is still pliable and definitely wearable. The zipper was originally a reproduction Aero Talon, but I replaced it with a MASH Co. triple-marked Talon (1930s/1940s era). There’s a slight color difference between the old stitching (done by Aero) and the new zipper stitching (done by my tailor), which commonly happens with restitching. Measurements (approximates, in inches) are below: Armpit to Armpit (across, flat): 22.25 to 22.4 Sleeve (from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve): 23.75 to 23.9 Shoulder to shoulder: 18.25 to 18.5 Length (from base of collar to bottom of back): 25 to 25.25 *** This item is sold as-is.
