Browning original 2pc scope base mount for Model 78 High Wall B-78

Description: Offered is a Browning original 2 piece steel scope mount set for the Model B-78. The underside of these bases are rounded, so for use with a round barrel. The front mount clearly marked “Browning” on the side. Used but in nice shape overall and perfectly usable. Some of the rear mounts show marks or small perforations from overtightening of the side screws, but these are not visible when the mounts are installed, and do not affect their use or function. These are virtually impossible to find so if you need or want a set of original Browning bases for your B-78, here is your opportunity. There are no screws included. Neither the receiver mounting screws, nor the side ring tightening screws are provided. However as this mount uses standard screws as used on other Browning mounts, they can be sourced from other Browning mounts. My understanding is that these mounts were originally made by Burris, so Burris screws should also work. A previous purchaser indicated that he was able to successfully use Redfield screws with these mounts.
