It is a worsted weight yarn with some unique characteristics. While you may shy away from worsted weight yarn for summer knits, reconsider that option with this yarn. The yarn is composed of a nylon net outer shell that holds the color. Inside the netting is a non-plied, loose spun white fiber blend. The construction results in a yarn that has very nice give so you don't experience fatigue while working with it like can happen with many cotton yarns. It also has a loft to it resulting in very light garments. The netting also reduces pilling. Each 100 gram skein has 218 yards of yarn. This yarn sells for $16 a skein.
