Description: Frank Lloyd Wright might be one of the best known architects in America. Liberty Graphics once carried a line of shirts authorized by the Frank Lloyd Foundation. This was discontinued some years ago and I have limited new inventory from that FLW Collection. In a response to a critique of the Guggenheim, FLW said that it was his intention "to make the building and the painting an uninterrupted symphony such as never Existed in the World of Art before". To achieve this, he chose a site near the peace and tranquility of Central Park, and after many trials he chose an organic form that admits natural diffused light from above and at every level. He said further that the building "is one great space in a continuous floor. The eye encounters no abrupt change but is gently led as if at the edge of the shore watching an unbreaking wave." Liberty graphics is known for attention to detail, consistent quality and concern for the environment. To acknowledge the last they use water based inks that are long lasting on the shirt but easier on the environment.
