THE GE lights in your airplane now were designed for tractors back in the 1930's and 1940's. Airplane manufacturers later began using them. You won't find an STC or PMA stamp on the GE lights either. As the owner you can change your own lights under Preventive Maintenance. If you are going to have your mechanic change them, check with him or her first, before you buy, to make sure they are comfortable with the new style lights and the fact that they are not STC or PMA. Similar in construction quality to Whelen Parmetheus, AeroLed, Alphabeam. The plug on this will not be compatible with your aircraft. You will need to use whatever connector terminal is appropriate for your installation. These are the same size as GE 4522, GE 4570, GE 4580, GE4581 ,GE4553.
