Description: Morm. hookeri ‘fuzzy beast’ x Morm. tapoayensis ‘Rogue One’ Up for auction is a flask of this truly great Mormodes hybrid. These should be just incredible and have been made with two truly exceptional parents. The Mormodes hookeri is outstanding, flowering with up to a dozen blooms that are very large, have deep red colored petals with a black fuzzy lip. The Mormodes tapoensis is spectacular and also has very similar deep merlot coloration on the petals and a very uniquely colored lip. The tapoeyensis is highly floriferous and often flowers with multiple spikes. This should produce very large flowers that are dark in coloration, likely with fuzzy lips on long stems that are highly fragrant. This combination should be absolute gold!The flask up for auction is packed with 15-20+++ great plantlets that are ready to be potted out. This is an exceptional flask of the species.
