This table is about two inches taller than what is usual for a dining table but with the right chairs feels comfortable. It would be relatively easy to cut 2" off the leg to make it a common dining table height without compromising the look of the leg. We could have that done for you here before shipping. Or this fabulous table could have been and also can be a console or entry table. Or, make it your kitchen island! We do have a pair of these elegant antique farmhouse tables but only one is pictured. Upon request we will send photos of the second table. It is identical; however it's top has more of a distressed patina. Its finish is definitely more worn but in some ways more beautiful. I'm not sure of their age. Most likely late 1800 to 1940's. This table is constructed of pine with a mahogany veneer. Maybe an old store display table??One of these makes a great harvest dining table. The two end to end makes a fantastic one!!!Absolutely fabulous patina on this antique farmhouse or harvest table.
