From the research for this listing this instrument appears to be made before 1923. This instrument has overall preserved very well considering its age. It comes in a cushioned case. The handle has no battery compartment but the threads work easily to attach to the ophthalmoscope head. The head has a stamped engraved print " Queen & Co. Philada." The discs on the head still rotate. On the back of the head is a reflective mirror piece. The mirror piece shows some deteriorating at the edges. Please see images for more detail.
