Description: Here is a PGA Champions Tour winner's trophy from the 1992 Vantage Classics Series held in Las Vegas at the TPC Canyons venue in May 1992. The winner was World Golf Hall of Famer Lee Trevino at 14 under par. This is crystal, beautifully crafted and weighs 9 pounds. The trophy is 9 inches in diameter and about 8 inches tall and thick. I acquired this piece from a Pawn Shop dealer in Las Vegas many years ago. It is not clear whether this is the actual winner's trophy or a duplicate made in case the original was damaged/broken. The only one who knows for sure is Lee Trevino. He won this event right after winning the 1992 Senior PGA Championship. I don't think it was a common practice to make backup trophies for the winners or we would see a lot more of these circulating around. Moving and must clear out some inventory. This is a very cool piece that can be used as a display on a coffee table or it could be more functional and hold whatever you want it to. It sparkles when the light hits it and you can hear the clear ping of the crystal when you tap the edge. It is beautiful and if you look at the pictures, you will see the quality of the craftmanship and will be very happy with this piece. The value of this item is over $1,000, but letting it go cheap. You may never have a shot at a real PGA trophy. Good luck!
