Mod for bolt up Rated by Roger the Old Guy on October 12, 2018 Summary: Great looking unit and sized for tight spaces, but...with the stock LS 1 plastic dirt shield in place the inner (closest to the engine block) bolt goes right in while the outer bolt will not line up to fasten. If the dirt shield is removed it will bolt up. Called Powermaster and they said would bolt up on LT but he had seen where it has an issue with the LS. But its for an LS so why not manufacture to fit ! I will be making my own thin aluminum dust cover with the plastic stock piece modified to mount with this starter.
