It features a lovely scene of rolling hills, as well as icicle like lace fortification and pretty color transitions. This is an older piece obtained from a lapidary collector, and is a higher end piece and collectible. Typically, dolomite is a good material for beginners because it cuts easily and polishes quickly. It is a softer material with a MOHS hardness of 3.5 - 4. This piece is collectible and can be polished to display, but it can also be used for lapidary to make cabochons. Dimensions are approximately 5.25" x 4.25" (see photos) and 5.6mm thick. Please note this is in an unpolished piece. Weighs 127.4 grams. Items will ship within 1-2 business days.
