Description: Mary Proctor Steam Iron Tested & Working Proctor-silex Model 10200 For More Items Like This See My Store Categories "Appliances > Irons" Note ** eBay has begun to automatically collect sales tax according to the location of the buyer weather the item is new or used, also buyers outside the US may be required to pay import charges when they receive their item ** Mary Proctor Steam Iron Tested & Working Proctor-Silex Model 10200, I believe this iron is from 03-1963 from the numbers by the model number (seen in the pictures), this iron is black and chrome with gold where the water is added. this iron is used, this iron is dirty/dusty, I have wiped the dust off but it could still use some more cleaning, this iron has faded spots, smudges, scratches, small chips and burnt spots (seen in the pictures). the cord is in good shape with no burns, cuts or frayed areas, I added some water to this iron to check for leaks and didn't find any, I plugged this iron in and turned it on, it made a brief buzzing noise and began to heat up fairly quickly however I didn't check to see if it would make steam, I'm sure it will since it holds water and heats up. I don't think I would use this iron for actually ironing clothes, I think it's better off being a display item. the burned spots around the bottom should clean up fairly easily but you might want to leave them alone to display as a used item. This Iron Could also be used for Art, Making Crafts or any other project where heat and or steam is needed.
