Description: A really gorgeous half-leather bound copy of Voltaire's "Henriade with the Battle of Fontenoy" translated to English by O. W. Wight. This is a presumed first edition of the Wight-translated Henriade. Marbled boards, endpapers, and textblock edges. Very good. Solid, sturdy book with tight binding and very bright decoration and lettering on spine. Rubbing on corners. A few scuffs on spine. A little wear at top of spine. Pages crisp. Marbled ends of textblock bright. Interior unmarked. Maybe a very slight spot of soiling here and there, but really clean overall. See photos.
