Description: A Leaflet distributed to the Japanese warning their citizens of their imminent defeat. The Japanese text on the printed image side of the leaflet loosely translates to "Still in danger I haven't passed it". The text on the other side when using a translation app, loosely translates to "We are not going to let the danger pass again. The American military will land on a certain part of this island and move forward very quickly. Many of your contacts who were in front of the rushing American troops perished due to your own carelessness. Everyone falls into the same fate if you don't want to, run away from the coast. The Kimaru cannot tell the difference between the soldiers and you and if you are in front of the American army that will soon arrive you will have to die. The American military has no intention of shooting you. I'm sorry". An amazing piece of history capturing the activities leading up to the end of WWII.This leaflet came from a WWII U.
